Squirmin'

Ever try to take a picture of a squirming baby? Here I was trying to get one of the hat Gma T. made him. Well - you'll have to imagine some of it :)


And then, I just HAD to get a picture showing his legs. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these chunky legs of Jack's. But again, he was flippin' all around so this was about the best shot I could get.

New foods

This week Jack is venturing into new territory. He's sucked on an apple and started sweet potatoes. Some of the faces he makes are the same ones Tom makes towards vegetables. It's been pretty funny.

One on every corner

So when mommy and "auntie" Kat get together, a Starbucks is usually involved. Well, Kat gave mommy the LARGEST Starbucks mug known to man. And guess what I do EVERY morning when mom drinks her mocha.....yep, I GO FOR IT.

We spent a few hours with Heather, Owen and Claire Saltzman today. Here's a few of Jack and Claire....she's ~6 wks younger than Jack. And she's SUCH a sweet thing. Her bro, Owen (~2 1/2) is so kind too.

Jack tried on a hat that Lindi H. made him. Here's the difference between when he received it at one-mth old and five-mths old. Dare I say he's gotten MUCH cuter in the process too?

Balloon

This is what we call entertainment for hours....ok, more like 20 min., but still. Jack figured out the balloon though...kick foot down, balloon follows.

We put the high chair up for our friend Olivia today. Since it was still up, I decided to see how Jack would fair in it....he did alright! The last pic is a typical look of concentration that baby Jack has nowadays.

Happy baby

Do you think Jack likes mornings??? This is the tenderness and happy baby I'm met with each morning. Kinda makes this non-morning person glad to get up. I took several pics and they were all met with the same huge smile. The last one shows a bit better chunky-chin photo....for our growing boy. He'll be 5-mths tomorrow!!
