Notice any similarities? To be a Hood boy means to read A LOT. Now here both my boys are eating dinner while reading. Ok, Jack took a break to read, but still.

He learned this last week. Now he's learned the tone of voice I use when I'm going to ask, "Jack, how old are you?" So, when I start saying, "Jack...", he puts up one finger. It's pretty cute.

Marla's Redneck Sled

I've been looking all over town for a kid's sled with a seat for Jack. Well, Target, Toys'R'Us, and Fred Meyer have all been a disappointment. So, with a little of mom's encouragement, I rigged up Tom's Red Flyer with a "to go" booster seat we have. The only thing I need now is duct tape, right?

Oh well - as long as the little one is happy :)

Side note: As I was walking, one of our neighbors stopped and said, "Try Carrs (Safeway)" for getting the sled I want. You mean our local GROCERY store would have it and not the stores mentioned above?!?! Sigh.

Diaper Duty

One of Jack's favorite activities now is to take his diapers out of his basket and spread them around. Doesn't he look proud of himself?
