Building a snow fort

Tom and Jack had a grand ol' time with all our snow.  They built a nice fort with a bench out front. 

Not sure if Liev was too impressed, however he did just wake up from his nap.  Not to worry - the pictures were short, so he wasn't outside long w/o the proper gear.

Liev finally took off this week.  He's wanted to hold our hand while walking for over a month.  On Jan. 18 (Tues), he took off and hasn't looked back.  I'm so happy for the little one!

Outdoor friends

We like to see our friendly neighboorhood moose.  And we like to see them when there's a window to separate us!  Here's a mama outside our window last night.  The baby was outside our other window.

We paid our annual visit to the Capt. Cook to visit the large gingerbread village display.  Quite a treat and it always smells so good!

 Tom's bday - I surprised him by inviting over some family members.  Those who were in town and not sick where there :)
