Like father, like son

Notice any similarities? To be a Hood boy means to read A LOT. Now here both my boys are eating dinner while reading. Ok, Jack took a break to read, but still.
I started laughing when I saw this. Had to get the camera quick.

Grandma and Jack

Jack and Grandma on Christmas day.

New pony

Jack got a new little pony for Christmas.
When its ears are pushed, it sings a song and moves its mouth.
Tom and I now go around singing the song it sings. We need help!!

Christmas Eve spent with friends

Beautiful Heather cutting the cake.

Tom with Olivia, Jack and Jan Michael

Olivia getting her hair done.
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at our friend's house. Time spent with family and friends is always a good thing :)

Nothing like a baby's smile

Our little neighbor, Khaliq, came to visit Jack.
Nothing says "happy" more than a baby's grin.
(Now to Photoshop out the red-eye)

Jack telling daddy that he's "one-year-old".
He learned this last week. Now he's learned the tone of voice I use when I'm going to ask, "Jack, how old are you?" So, when I start saying, "Jack...", he puts up one finger. It's pretty cute.

Vegas Redux

Jack's first carousel ride!

At Valley of Fire National park. Very cool - lots of good places to hike.

We plum wore the little guy out!

More photos of Vegas, pre-snow if anyone has been watching the news.
