Viva Las Vegas

Yes, that would be one Pete Rose, who was doing a card show in the Forum Shops at Caesar's. We totally ran into this by accident. Figuring it's not often you can get the autograph of baseball's all-time hits leader, I jumped at the chance to get a signed ball. Pete loved rubbing Jack's head, who also enjoyed it as well. I have the ball sitting on my shelf right now. Oh, this all occurred the first day!

This is outside Treasure Island.

Jack had a monkey on his back the whole trip. No pun intended.

This was taken at the Bellagio in their Fall Harvest area.

At Caesar's Palace.
Our first day consisted of going along the entire Vegas Strip. No real shopping, just lots of sight-seeing. Marla totally wore me out with her desire to walk about 10 miles total. Well, maybe I didn't resist too much. Either way, we all had a great first day. More pictures later, but I at least wanted to get a few out now.

Looks like a great trip! From an old 1970's Oakland A's fan, I was excited to see you met Pete Rose and acquired an autiographed ball. What fun! (If I ever come to visit you, you better hide it. ) :-))

I'm tired just watching you. And how cool is that you met Pete Rose?! Up close and personal, it looks like to me.
