Just a couple of cute things to note....
New words have been falling out of Jack's mouth right and left. Each day brings new ones that I'm thinking, "Whoa - here we go..." Yesterday I was with him at the library and he sees Thomas the Train. He starts saying, "Tomah, Tomah, Tomah, Tomah". I start chuckling as I'm thinking, "Son, you don't realize you're saying your dad's name!" Course, he's thinking trains.
Today, he was pointing to trucks in his book saying "Kut, kut" I guess that means truck to him, since every time we saw a truck, "kut" came out. He's been saying "car" for awhile now. Oh yea, and we were smart to teach him "toot" when someone, well, you know. So don't try to sneak one by him.....he'll catch you - he's proven that one.
Then, his grandpa T. taught him 'knucks'. Grandpa T. does this with my nephew, Oscar. Basically hitting fists against each others. We tell Jack to give us knucks and while doing it, he says, "Grandpa!" It's really cute. I can't wait for Grandpa H. to teach him something one day that he'll repeat over and over. And, every time the phone rings, "Grandma?" comes out.
So, the era of Jack talking has officially started. Wait until the day when I try to get him to be quiet. :)

Oh, now the real fun begins! It is amazing how many and what words they will pick up. Watch what you say and others say around him. Those will come back right back at ya.
How fun! I see many wonderful conversations in your future! :-)
What a great time Marla! Jack will be yapping your ear off before you know it and you will be loving every minute of it! Our little grandson Jacob has been saying mama and baba. (Baba is bottle) They grow so fast!
