Shoulder time

Has been a very busy few weeks. I moved office buildings and still have computer junk to clean out at the old office. I also was sick during this time. So I've lovingly passed my sickness onto Jack. He sounded like a barking seal on Thurs/Fri. Seems to be better today. But the little trooper still smiles through it all. Here he's picking daddy's ears and drooling in his hair (you can't see that part). Isn't that sweet of him?

Gpa Jack had knee surgery, so little Jack is showing his sympathetic side by wrapping up his knee :) Hope you're feeling better Gpa!!

New baby.....

Honestly - we were "just looking". Whoops. I told Tom we're dangerous when we shop together - especially for a "new baby". Here's what we came home with tonight. An '04 Honda Pilot.

In truth, we've been looking for several months and narrowed it down to a Pilot or a Toyota Highlander. Today we went test driving. Found we liked the Pilot a wee-bit better. I didn't really feel like buying new and losing $3k when we drove it off the lot. So then we went down to a park and sell lot and low and behold, here was one in the color (blueish-grey) that I really, really liked. For the right price, we brought 'er home. Now we'll be selling my Subaru there - after we clean it out. Sniff, sniff - I'll miss my baby, but since Tom happens to have the EXACT same Subaru, I'll get over it.

And we did this all while Jack bounced on our laps. He did really well. Smiled appropriately, cooed in a timely fashion, etc.

Sorry to have been gone so long on the blog....we've been busy doing "who knows what". My office is moving buildings these next few wks, so have been prepping for that. These are a few photos we took tonight just to post 'something'.

Jack's been his usual - smiley, eating heartily, generally growing like a weed.

Jack loves to pound on my keyboard. So I got out my old one and stuck it on my desk for him to begin his typing skills.
ENTERTAINMENT for HOURS. Who needs a TV when you have a washing machine??!? Jack cracks me up.
